Dr. Renee Boyajan, co-owner of Skycrest Animal Hospital, grew up in central Florida. After attending the University of Miami, Dr. Boyajan went to the University of Florida for veterinary medicine, graduating in 2011. Many of you know Peggy. Peggy recently moved to part-time and takes care of our boarders on the weekends and holidays. Peggy was born and raised in Clearwater and has worked in the veterinary field for a long time. She started with Skycrest in 2006 and has been here ever since! You’ll find her rooting and following all the area sports teams, but especially the Rays! She loves exercise and walks many of the neighborhood dogs. 🙂
Sky is the most recent addition to our residents. She was found as a stray, and we kept her for a bit to try to find the owner before sending her through animal services. After she finished her stray hold, we missed her too much and had to adopt her as our own. Little did we know, she is quite the mischievous cat as she has broken into numerous bags of food and broken treat jars. Thankfully, she’s cute and is a great companion to Chester, as well as wonderful staff entertainment.
We consider Chester the office manager here at Skycrest! He came to us in 2016 as a very sick stray cat, requiring intensive care and a feeding tube, although you’d never know it now! Chester spends his days overseeing hospital operations and making sure mealtime runs on schedule.
